All Eagle Project Reviews (project proposal approvals) and Eagle Boards of Review (after Council signatures) are scheduled through the Eagle Board of Review Team.

Approaching age 18? Clearly state your deadline when requesting an appointment.
Scouts should involve a parent/guardian or registered leader when scheduling and attending.

Have your completed project plan and signature page ready (all required signatures except the district signature).
Be prepared to provide:
Your full name, unit number, and contact info
Beneficiary and a brief project summary
Any timeline constraints (especially if nearing 18)

Need to update Scoutbook?
Scoutbook is becoming more and more prevalent as a tool our National Team is using to assist units and track advancement. There is a new tool on the app to help Leaders plan meetings, find training, and promote scouts right from their smartphone! Den leaders can also watch presentations about den meetings and look at the requirements to help prepare for activities. I have attached a Scoutbook presentation to help any units new to Scoutbook, or quite frankly anyone using Scoutbook, to help them get information and learn the system. Need to update your Unit’s Map Pin?
It has come to my attention that many leaders are unaware of how to change the beascout.org map pin to help people locate and connect with your unit. This function is vital to any healthy unit to have up-to-date information so prospective families can easily find your units. I have attached a step-by-step document to help you update your pin with the correct leadership information and meeting locations to make it easier for your units to be found, especially with ScoutFest coming up! 2026 Gravois Trail Winter Klondike
2026 Gravois Trail Klondike Derby – Polar Party
Get ready for the coolest event of the year! The Polar Party Klondike Derby brings a neon, high‑energy twist to classic winter Scout challenges. Patrols will haul their sleds across our snowy course, competing in fun skill stations, teamwork events, and theme‑inspired activities—all with a vibrant rave‑style atmosphere.
Bring your cold‑weather gear, your Klondike sled, and all the glow sticks, lights, and bright decorations you can pack. It’s an outdoor adventure full of Scouting spirit, winter fun, and unforgettable memories.
Scouts of all ages are invited to participate in the 77th Annual Memorial Day Good Turn on Sunday May 24, 2026, hosted by Gravois Trail District. Registration will be from 10:30 am until 11:30 am at the VA Hospital Orange Lot with the procession into the cemetery beginning at 11:30 am. Upon check-in, the unit leader or designated adult will receive a map and participation ribbon. Patches will be available for $5.00.
Participants will attend the Flag Ceremony before proceeding to the flag boxes. No one will be allowed to begin placing flags until after the ceremony has been dismissed.
For more than seven decades, approximately 5,000 Scouts have gathered at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery before Memorial Day to decorate each of the approximately 280,000 graves with an American Flag. In its 77th year (2026), the tradition is one of the longest-running Memorial Day events within Scouting.
The public is welcome to attend the event. Scouts from across the Council will assemble at the VA Hospital Orange Lot and march into the Cemetery, where they proceed to the main flagpole for assembly and ceremony honoring our fallen soldiers. A flag presentation marks the opening of our ceremony, followed by a guest speaker who will address the crowd. The ceremony will close with the retrieving of the flags, Taps, and Amazing Grace by the Bagpipers. Everyone will be dismissed to begin placing the flags on each grave.
It takes approximately 2 hours to complete the Good Turn, and Scouts will have placed over 200,000 flags on each grave.
In 1866, Jefferson Barracks was established as a National Cemetery, and today is one of the oldest interment sites of the National Cemetery Administration, Department of Veterans Affairs.

Bee Tree Park Twilight Camp
When: June 17th – 20th | 5:30 pm – 8:30pm Daily
Where: Bee Tree Park County Park
Who: All Cub Scout-aged youth (Siblings and non-Scouts are welcome!)
Cost: $75
This evening camp is a great add-on to other summer activities. Fishing, shooting sports, and STEM are just a few of the activities campers experience!

Gravois Trail District Dinner –
The Gravois Trail Volunteer Recognition dinner will be held on Friday, January 23rd, 2026, at Andre’s South Banquet Center. The highlights of the evening include presenting the District Awards of Merit and the Unit Spark Plug awards. It’ll be an excellent opportunity to socialize, congratulate our outstanding volunteers, and celebrate our accomplishments!
Doors will open at 6:30 pm with meal at 7:00 pm – Cost $30 per person.
